Youthful and free spirited, that was the mission for this shoot. Even before we started the models most of whom had just met, were already playing around together as if they had been friends for years. With that energy running through the entire team it translated well through to the final images.

BARREL RACING

I recently called up local DP, Adam Buck, to see if he would be interested in doing a test shoot with me. His reply was something to the tune of "Hells yes!" This shoot was something I had in mind for the last year. There is such a dynamic working with horses from the sheer power they have to the skill of the rider.

Working closely with the rider we captured the atmosphere and energy of riding.   The use of slow-motion Adam captured really amplifies the energy of the horse as it goes full speed around the barrel, something that only lasts a moment yet is so complex when slowed down. At the end of the day we were happy with the outcome of our collaboration and the final product.
